The Astoria Worker Project is an initiative from the Consortium for Worker Education (CWE) to create a worker center offering a range of social services to the residents of Astoria and Western Queens, New York.
The Astoria Worker Project will meld CWE’s proven workforce development programming with forward-thinking services that are responsive to New York City’s evolving economy.
The center offers workforce development resources that enhance workers’ rights, address mental health needs, support the creation of worker co-operatives, and provide programming to benefit Astoria’s immigrant communities.

Public Money Action is a 501c4 advocacy and research organization focusing on re-thinking money, finance, and economics towards a new policy paradigm committed to the public interest, inclusion, and dignity for all
